BT Conferencing will jointly offer carbon neutral conferencing services with CO2NeutralConferencing.com.

CO2NeutralConferencing.com will use BT’s Asia Pacific conferencing infrastructure, providing access to “low-cost conferencing services that will be offset by carbon credits,” BT said. “This enables customers to reduce their costs whilst simultaneously being more environmentally friendly.”

BT Conferencing CEO Aaron McCormack said the partnership with CO2NeutralConferencing.com would allow collaboration with partners and customers while reducing carbon emissions.

CO2NeutralConferencing.com also advises on business travel reduction, which helps their customers put in place a strategy for audio, web, video conferencing and unified communications.  These services combined can reduce spending and carbon emissions by reducing corporate travel expenses.

Customers can also enjoy add-on services, such as an airmiles scheme that rewards employees for using technology rather than traveling, and a carbon reduction report which advises how much carbon emissions have been cut.

“With the current global financial crisis, we help companies put a strategy in place to save money, reduce reliance on flights, be more productive and of course more environmentally friendly,” said Daryl Hutchings, Co-Founder.

Existing clients include WWF International, NetSuite and Aberdeen Asset Management.
