HP is offering enterprise customers a cloud design and consultancy service that is says will speed the adoption of cloud-based infrastructures.
It says it will ensure the cloud infrastructure can support a hybrid sourcing model that includes private and public cloud options.
As part of the service, HP will create a customized cloud infrastructure design blueprint and an implementation plan for customers.
HP’s reference portfolio includes the US the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Rapid Access Computing Environment (RACE), a cloud infrastructure solution that accelerates the process of provisioning computing services for applications used by the US military.
Gard Little, a research manager at IDC, said companies “need strategic counsel on the cloud infrastructure design that will best meet their business goals.”
