Cisco has cut carbon emissions by 45% over its 2007 baseline, according to its latest CSR report. Much of the reduction has come from the use of its own collaboration and telepresence solutions to eliminate travel and meeting costs.

 

GE plans to buy 25,000 electric vehicles for its fleet and fleet customers, including at least 12,000 GM vehicles, Forbes reports. GE says the emerging EV market could deliver up to $500 million in topline revenue over the next three years.
