Cisco has begun a collaboration with Alberta utility Enmax on a next-generation utility model, including building energy management, residential energy management, data centers and renewable energy optimization.

Fujitsu has released the Primergy cloud extension server, offering savings of at least 20% in power and cooling in comparison to a standard rack server assembly.
