Equinix says its SV2 International Business Exchange (IBX) has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification from the US Green Building Council .

Telcordia has updated its guidelines for telecom power supplies. Its 200 guidelines cover FTTx power needs, US Department of Homeland Security recommendations, and best practices on backup power and redundancy, among others.

Medals at the just-completed Vancouver winter games included metal salvaged from the circuit boards of electronic devices, earning praise from local green group GoodWoodWatch.
