Environmental group Greenpeace, which last week assailed Facebook for using coal-powered electricity in its data centers, is itself using carbon-producing energy to power its servers. Greenpeace said the “only truly green data centers” were those using renewable energy, but some of its servers are powered by coal and nuclear energy, Data Center Knowledge reported.
