Hong Kong Highpower Technology, a maker of Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries, has received an award from the Hong Kong Productivity Council for its green efforts and contribution to cleaner production methods.
 
The Empire State Building will replace all of its 6,500 windows with a new kind of glass that will trap the building’s heat and help block out the sun, Business Green reports.
 
IdaTech has sold its hydrogen backup power fuel cell to Indonesian wireless operator Hutchison CP Telecom for deployment in Sumatra.
